Welcome to Memorial Elementary School. It is a privilege to serve as the principal here at this extraordinary school. Memorial has great tradition with dedicated teachers, and outstanding families. We take great pride in not only our school, but in our school corporation and our city of Valparaiso. I believe,to make the greatest difference, all stake holders must work together.
In my time working with students I have found that the key to success is relationships. Students need to feel as if they are part of something and that they belong. It is pretty awesome to be able to wake up every morning, going to school and know that we can make a difference in a child’s life daily.
Memorial Elementary is committed to our students. We believe that it is important to work as a team in order to help each student as an individual. We further believe that it is important to have parents involved. Together we can maintain our excellence in education while demonstrating the importance of being lifelong learners.
