Spell Bowl is an extracurricular academic competition.  Because the team competes with other schools, the members must be good representatives of the school.  The sponsor and the advisor determine team members and participants.

The organization will follow the general expectations for student behavior as stated elsewhere in this Handbook with the additional stipulation that obnoxious and/or embarrassing behavior in connection with competitions will not be tolerated and will be cause for disciplinary action.  The sponsor is the sole judge of who participates in a particular match.  Students who are suspended from school for violations of the School Behavior Code will be removed from the team.
