- Jillian Gudenschwager, Flint Lake Elementary STEM teacher, was recognized for being selected as a "National Outstanding Project Lead the Way Teacher." She is one of just 59 teachers from across the nation to earn this recognition.

When given an opportunity to address the VCS Board, Mrs. Gudenschwager praised her colleagues and expressed her gratitude for all the "great kids" she has the opportunity to work with each day.
Each of the students receiving recognition had a chance to reflect on their experience at VHS as well as discuss their plans for the future in a lighthearted, impromptu "interview" with Dr. McCall and the VCS Board.
