In 2025, the VHS Vikings made history by winning their first-ever state championship in baseball. The team also secured its inaugural IHSAA Regional Championship. They finished the season with an impressive record of 26-5, concluding with 20 consecutive victories. Valpo's Drayden Wilcox was honored with this year's Bob Gardner Mental Attitude Award for Class 4A Baseball. Congratulations to Coach Todd Evans, the entire coaching staff, and team!
