We are very excited to announce that Memorial Elementary School has been named a 2026 Indiana Blue Ribbon School!
The Indiana Blue Ribbon designation recognizes exceptional academic performance and innovative approaches to education. Memorial Elementary School is one of only 16 schools across Indiana to receive this award in 2026.
Valparaiso Community Schools has now been honored with eight total Blue Ribbon Awards: one Indiana Blue Ribbon, and seven National Blue Ribbons.
A group of Memorial representatives were presented with the award at the Educational Excellence Awards Gala on Friday, October 2, in Indianapolis. Check out the picture to see our staff with the award!
