COVID-19 Update

Valparaiso Community Schools will require masks for all students, staff, and visitors during the school day regardless of vaccination status in all of the schoolhouses effective Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

VHS Students Sweep Indiana High School Architectural Design Competition

Nine Valparaiso High School Students earned awards in the 2021 Indiana High School Architectural Design Competition (IHSADC). The Valparaiso High School students made competition history by sweeping the competition earning every available award this year out of 70 entries from 8 high schools.

2021 State of the Schools

Valparaiso Community Schools Administration presents the State of the Schools annually to keep the community informed of highlights from the previous year and to discuss the outlook on the future for the district. This year’s State of the Schools presentation included preliminary Return to Learn plan information for the 2021-22 school year such as the plan’s multi-tiered approach, health and safety protocols, and optional mask use guidance along with a district overview, finance information, and more.

Town Hall Forum: 2021-2022 Planning

The Valparaiso Community Schools Board of Trustees has been presented with proposed plans for the 2021-2022 school year.
